I am sorry that i am not a great fan on world cup nor i am really interested at it. But as i know that Zidane had done somthing as a captain or a sportmen should not do. Disappointment were discribe for the game, but i think there should be more as blaming came into it.
A leader or captain, his role is to lead the team to face and pass through all diffculty, he should also be the first one to motivate the team when the team is down. Yes Zidane maybe the fact that cause France lost to Italy. As he himself as a captain had did something to lose the team spirit and lose his pride as one player and one team captain.
However, i am quite sure that what he did is due to his reflection action, after being insulted by others. I think he himself does not want it too. Ask Miss Tan a question, what if you are in Zidane shoe, could you keep your calm? I am sure not alot of people could do it. So when blaming came into reason for France lost, Zidane is the one being blame. But I think the person who insulted him is partially at fault too. Because the guy had lost his sportmenship by insulting Zidane to gain his anger and get him out of the game. (A tactic that made people jeer at him)
So I think Zidane cannot be fully blame at. This maybe a sorry end for Zidane but i am sure that people remember more on what he contributed to the team more then what he did during 2006 World Cup. And i guess there are people who will understand his situation then. Moreover, people should be learning from this as in being calm no matter what, or else one will leave regrets.
